OUr mission at Project ASCENT is to help children increase their awareness and understanding of their natural environment; to support educators in their quest for the skills, attitudes and materials essential to help learners know and care about their environment; to educate the public about environmental and outdoor issues and recreational opportunities; to contribute or otherwise assist corporations, organizations and institutions carrying on such activities which are consistent with these purposes.
Project ASCENT was created to introduce participants into the natural world through education and expedition. Our programs are jam-packed full of basic wilderness and safety information.
Participants experience varying levels of outdoor skills and activities in an immersive setting.
An appreciation of our environment is coupled with an opportunity to meet recreational professionals in a service learning atmosphere to provide participants with the ability and motivation to become lifelong stewards of our world and its offerings. All adventures and lessons are based in a picturesque region of Montana where an appreciation of beauty and tranquility are immanent.
